Stamford Bridge
Chelsea
Chelsea's home since 1905, located in affluent Fulham. The stadium is hemmed in by the Fulham Road, residential housing, and a railway line, limiting expansion. Features the famous Matthew Harding Stand named after the late vice-chairman. Plans for a new 60,000 stadium have stalled.

Sections & Stands (8)
Lower Tier
East Stand Lower
Opposite the main stand. Good views, often available for members.
π‘ Tip: Good balance of view and atmosphere. Easier to get tickets here. Accessibility: Some wheelchair spaces. View of dugouts.
Matthew Harding Stand Lower
Β£68 - Β£68
Named after the beloved late vice-chairman. The singing end of Stamford Bridge. Home to Chelsea's most vocal fans.
π‘ Tip: Best atmosphere in the ground. Singing and standing common. Central blocks best. The "Celery" song and bouncing are legendary here.
Shed End Lower
Historic home end with excellent atmosphere from Chelsea supporters. Away fans are allocated to specific blocks in the EAST STAND lower tier (Blocks 4-6 corner), NOT the Shed End. This is HOME territory - vocal Chelsea supporters create great atmosphere here.
π‘ Tip: Avoid if you want quiet - near away fans and vocal home fans. Great for atmosphere lovers.
West Stand Lower
Β£87 - Β£87
The oldest stand, housing the directors' box and VIP areas. Premium seating with excellent views.
π‘ Tip: Best seats in the house but least atmospheric. Corporate feel. Worth it for the view. Accessibility: Central wheelchair positions with excellent views. Premium pricing.
Upper Tier
East Stand Upper
Upper tier with panoramic views. Often more tickets available.
π‘ Tip: Good value option. Views are excellent from most seats.
Matthew Harding Stand Upper
Upper tier with good views and decent atmosphere spillover from below.
π‘ Tip: Good views and still part of the atmosphere. Better sightlines than lower.
Shed End Upper
Upper tier behind the goal. Mixed atmosphere but good views.
π‘ Tip: Views of attacks toward Matthew Harding. Away fans below on one side.
West Stand Upper
Upper tier of main stand. Excellent central views.
π‘ Tip: Great views, corporate atmosphere. Good for photography.

Average experience
Minor obstruction from a railing but nothing major. Third game this month. Addiction is real. Day trippers. No passion.

Take it or leave it
Would have been better off watching on TV. Decent noise levels. Good participation. Happy with the price-to-quality ratio. Back of the section. More legroom at least. Stewards were helpful pointing us the right way.

Not blown away
Bit too far for my liking. Felt disconnected from the action. Singing section nearby keeps things lively. Not cheap but justified. Last row - bit of a climb but worth it. Couldn't get a beer. Queue was massive.

Neither here nor there
The elevated position helps. Better than being pitch-side actually. Can't complain but can't celebrate either. Both teams came out for the warm-up right in front of us.

You can follow the game but don't expect perfection. Back row but actually preferred the overview. Reasonable cost for Premier League football. Felt like a library at times. Awkward.

Good value
Bit far from the action. Needed to squint for the far end. Legroom was tight. I'm 6'2 and struggled. Good energy throughout. Picked up for the big moments. Walking from town centre took about half hour. Perfect weather for football. Crisp autumn afternoon. Standard pricing. Nothing special either way.
